Niagara Falls USA has a new destination point for restaurants goers and a tourist attraction in its own right with the opening of the Rainforest Cafe in the Sheraton Hotel.

NFNY Hotel Management announced the opening of Rainforest Cafe and this Rainforest Cafe will be one of just 24 in the entire U.S.”It’s going to be a great tourist attraction for the area, that’s much-needed in the Niagara Falls market,” site owner Michael DiCienzo said.

Indeed, the introduction of the Rainforest Cafe will provide a brand new adventure for local guests and a unique experience for worldwide visitors and tourists to the Niagara Falls marketplace. Patrons will choose from an assortment of tropical dishes, while the recreated jungle setting – complete with waterfalls, wildlife and vegetation – delivers excitement and fun to adults and children alike. The mushroom bar and a talking tree named Tracy in the dining area also will enhance the jungle-like feel.

The 14,000-square-foot restaurant will seat 238 guests inside, with additional seating for 60 guests on the outdoor patio. The retail village will be located within the restaurant, where guests can purchase a variety of great Rainforest Cafe merchandise and souvenirs.

Clayton Cobb, general manager for The Rainforest Cafe, expressed his excitement about the opening of the new restaurant.

“We are very proud to bring the Rainforest Cafe to Niagara Falls, New York,” he said. “It will be an awesome attraction for our local guests, but also for our out of town visitors.

“Always a wild place to shop and eat!”

NFNY Hotel Management currently operates the Sheraton At The Falls, Days Inn At The Falls, TGI Fridays, Starbucks Café, Denny’s Restaurant and Sweet Treats Shop.

The Rainforest Cafe has hired 200 new employees for its opening. There are a variety of employment positions available within NFNY Hotel Management’s other entities.
