Town of Niagara to Hold “Noel at Niagara” Park Lighting November 23rd

The Town of Niagara will hold the annual “Noel at Niagara” Park lighting ceremony Friday, November 23rd from 5:00-7:00 PM at Veteran’s Memorial Community Park on Lockport Road. Among the lighted displays that will be erected in the Park this year will be those purchased from the United Way, previously used in that organization’s “Holiday Lights Trail” event.

“It was a win-win for the Town of Niagara to purchase lights from the United Way and utilize them in our annual “Noel at Niagara” event at Veteran’s Memorial Community Park,” said Supervisor Lee Wallace. “We purchased the light displays for $25,000, which helps the tremendous work done by the United Way and in return we acquired professional displays that will greatly enhance the Town’s Park and other areas in the Town of Niagara,“ added Wallace.

The ceremony of the 23rd will include refreshments, the Bob Volkman Band, a visit from Santa Claus and a fireworks display.

The light displays will be illuminated each night from 5:00 to 9:00 PM complete with holiday music in Veteran’s Memorial Community Park, 7000 Lockport Road beginning Friday November 23rd thru Sunday January 6th.

Children and their families can also come and visit the North Pole workshop at the Calvin K. Richards Senior/Youth Activity Center inside the park. Children can see Santa Claus and enjoy the other holiday activities from 6:00 – 8:30 PM on December 1st, 8th and 15th.
