asdTown of Niagara Supervisor Lee Wallace along with Deputy Supervisor Chuck Teixeira, Councilmen Marc Carpenter and Sam Gatto cut the ribbon tonight on the new Stageline mobile stage at Veterans Memorial Park, 7000 Lockport Road. The state of the art mobile stage was purchased with the annual funds received from the New York Power Authority and will be used at the upcoming Music Mania Monday free summer concert series.
“The stage will be used to enhance the Monday concerts which have been growing in popularity and we expect our best summer ever,” said Supervisor Wallace. “This is the finest collection of bands yet to play at our annual Music Mania Monday free concert series and while we had been renting an all-purpose stage from the city of Niagara Falls, this new Stageline stage is designed specifically for concerts with superior acoustics,” added Wallace. “The purpose of the weekly concerts is not to make a profit, but to enhance the quality of life for our Town residents.”
The official Kick-off of the Music Mania Mondays free concert series is Monday June 13th with the Eagles tribute band Hotel California taking the stage at 6:30 PM. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
