asdThe Town of Niagara will hold a “Trash to Treasure” event Sunday, May 28th from 7:00 AM to 3 PM at Veteran’s Memorial Community Park located at 7000 Lockport Road in the Town.
The inaugural event will feature the legendary Niagara Falls band “Penelope” and multiple food trucks for the visitors and patrons as well as dozens and dozens of mini “garage sales” and craft show vendors.
“Trash to Treasure” will take place in the beautiful setting of the Town’s Veteran’s Memorial Community Park. No driving from neighborhood to neighborhood to find your hidden treasure or coveted final piece of your hobby collection.
“This is a first time event that we felt was worth trying for the residents of the Town of Niagara,” said Town Supervisor Lee Wallace. “Instead of holding your own individual garage sale where just a few people may drive by your home, you can set up your wares in our park and take advantage of hundreds of perspective buyers all in one location. We also see this as the kick-off to our great summer calendar of events being held at Veteran’s Memorial Community Park,” added Wallace.
All Town of Niagara residents can register for free at townofniagararecreation.com with a $25 fee for non-residents and craft show vendors.
