Town of Niagara Supervisor Lee Wallace has released the full schedule for the 2018 Music Mania Mondays free concert events. “This will be the most entertaining summer concert schedule to date,” said Supervisor Lee Wallace. “The combination of great opening local bands and the outstanding national and regional tribute bands should make this most successful Music Mania Mondays season to date,” added Wallace. The concerts are held at 6:30 PM each Monday night at Veteran’s Memorial Community Park on Lockport Road beginning June 11^th.

The Music Mania Mondays concerts will again feature popular local food vendors, a beer & wine tent manned by Niagara Active Hose volunteers and grilled summer treats and soft drinks sold by the Town of Niagara Lions Club. “Our summer concert series has become a great source of revenue for Niagara Active Hose, the Lions Club and local non-for profit who sell 50/50 tickets at all events,” said Lee Wallace. “We have had a tremendous increase in sponsor support this year which is very gratifying,” said Wallace. “We are also grateful to all of our sponsors and especially our three Premium level sponsors Republic Services, Tim Horton’s and Rich Products.”

Special events are the July 7^th “Pride in the Park” Independence Day celebration with a firework display and the classic car show on August 6^th. Concert goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and no alcoholic drinks or pets are allowed except certified service dogs. Veteran’s Memorial Community Park is a smoke free zone.

“This concert series began as an entertainment event, but now it is so much more. It has become a gathering place on a Monday night for residents young and old and it is so gratifying to see the outpouring of support,” concluded Lee Wallace.
