Jillian Colucci Named 2018 Niagara County Peach Festival Chairperson

Kiwanis Club of Lewiston President Marty Pauly has announced that Jillian Colucci has been named Chairperson of the 2018 Niagara County Peach Festival. Colucci is the first woman to serve in the capacity as Chairperson in the history of the Festival which is celebrating its 61st year. This year’s Niagara County Peach Festival will be held September 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th at Academy Park on Center Street in Lewiston.

Jillian Colucci is Vice President/Commercial Bank Manager for M&T Bank and has been a member of the Lewiston Kiwanis Club for three years. “The Peach Festival has been such a wonderful part of the Niagara County community, and the Lewiston Kiwanis Club is happy to be bringing people together again for the 61st year,” said Colucci. “The Niagara County Peach Festival is run solely by volunteers, and all of the proceeds go back into our local community. This year, we are especially excited to begin the Festival one day earlier on Thursday September 6th, so that our visitors will have an additional day to enjoy all that the Festival has to offer, “added Colucci.

The Niagara County Peach Festival is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Lewiston and again this year will feature their famous peach shortcake made with locally grown peaches from Bittner Singer Orchards. The Niagara County Peach Festival will also feature forty amusement rides, Buffalo sports mascot and superhero night, peach recipe competition, twenty-two food vendors, Peach Queen Pageant, Peach Blossom and Peach Fuzz contests, Saturday Parade, cheerleading contest, 5K run and live entertainment.

The Peach Festival has raised over one million dollars since 1958 and is sponsored in part by the WGRZ-TV, the Buffalo News and Star 102.5. For more information go to lewistonpeachfestival.org. #NiagaraCountyPeachFestival, #JillianColucci
