Town of Niagara Releases 2019 Music Mania Monday Schedule

Town of Niagara Supervisor Lee Wallace has released the full schedule for the 2019 Music Mania Mondays free concert events. “This will be our most ambitious summer concert schedule to date,” said Supervisor Lee Wallace. “We have extended our reach for nationally known tribute bands as well as a great lineup of local opening bands,” added Wallace. The concerts are held at 6:30 PM each Monday night at Veteran’s Memorial Community Park on Lockport Road beginning June 10th.

The Music Mania Mondays concerts will again feature popular local food vendors, a beer & wine tent manned by Niagara Active Hose volunteers and grilled summer treats and soft drinks sold by the Town of Niagara Lions Club. “Our summer concert series has become a great source of revenue for Niagara Active Hose, the Lions Club and local non-for profit who sell 50/50 tickets at all events,” said Lee Wallace. “This has also been a record year for acquiring local sponsors which reflects the success of the Monday night events,” said Wallace. “We are grateful to all of our sponsors and especially our two Elite sponsors Republic Services and Niagara’s Choice Credit Union as well as our two Premier sponsors Tim Horton’s CRB Holdings and Rich Entertainment Group.”

Two special events are back this summer including the “Trash to Treasure” flea market and craft show on June 8th which this year will also include the Classic Car Show and musical entertainment by “J.J Swing”. On July 6th the Town will again host the “Pride in the Park” Independence Day celebration with a firework display and eight hours of live music with four  individual bands.

Concert goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and no alcoholic drinks or pets are allowed except certified service dogs. Veteran’s Memorial Community Park is a smoke free zone. “This concert series has not only provided weekly entertainment for Town residents, but it has also become a gathering place for young and old alike, which is so gratifying,” concluded Lee Wallace.
