Niagara Falls Picked #1
Niagara Falls has been picked the number one place Americans should visit by the readers of the International Business Times. The publication asked readers to vote for the one spot every American should visits and Niagara Falls was the top pick among twenty well known natural wonders, manmade destinations and historical landmarks. Seventy-four percent of the participants who voted in the poll selected Niagara Falls number one.

This is what International Business Times wrote about visiting Niagara Falls: “It’s neither the biggest nor the tallest. It’s not even the most powerful, but Niagara is certainly the world’s most famous waterfall. Why? This border-straddling cataract is steeped in American mythology.
History books offer tales of Niagara’s curious early visitors, often depicted wearing one of two things: a bridal veil or a barrel. Yet, while daredevils may have put Niagara on the map, and while canoodling couples may have kept it there for a time, a reinvigorated Niagara Falls is finally peeking out of the mist. Coming into its own, this new Niagara is a place where nature no longer plays second fiddle to the circus around it.”
