Sweet Treats

The Sheraton at the Falls on Old Falls Street at Third in Niagara Falls USA has added a nifty shop for anyone with a sweet tooth called Sweet Treats. The new shop is almost 500 square feet of Hershey candy, ice cream, cookies and cupcakes located in a portion of the hotel’s “Starbucks Coffee Shop.”

Sheraton management felt Sweet Treats would complement the overall offerings of the Sheraton at the Falls Hotel. In fact, the store has already become a favorite spot for some of the visiting foreign tourists as a family from East India bought $120 of candy in one visit just days after the shop opened.

Sweet Treats will feature many items that the DiCienzo family, owners of the Sheraton, offer in the “Hershey’s” store in Niagara Falls Canada, including chocolate covered strawberry’s.

The Sheraton added four new full-time positions to staff the store with one manager supervising both “Sweet Treats” and the “Starbucks Coffee Shop”.

“Sweet Treats” is open 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week during the tourist season with reduced hours over the winter months.
